It’s happening.
After months of editing, art direction, and quiet chaos in the back rooms of Newton Press, The Curious Post Vol. 1: Forbidden Fruit is now entering manufacturing.
We’re thrilled to share the very first look at the standard paperback edition and the special edition luxe hardcover, complete with:
Silver-foil ghost and title detailing
Pitch-black pages (darkmode) with white text and interior illustration ink
With unlockable insignia end papers and special edition dual-sided dust jacket (due to the as-yet-unfolding tariff situation, this will be a Kickstarter, but the basics are assured.)
Sprayed edges? Oh yes, they’re a non-negotiable. The final design is still under wraps, but rest assured: These edges will bite.

Speculative tales of haunted rituals and fretful codes
Prophecies delivered via leysprings, warnings from the deep

All contributed by a coven of debut and tenured indie authors who knew exactly how to make forbidden subject matter sing.

We're seeking speculative fiction, horror, poetry, and weird storytelling that explores crossing points—metaphysical portals, uncanny rituals, memory loops, interdimensional hauntings, or stories that feel like decoding a forgotten ARG.
No normal fiction, no comforting tropes. Just stories that glow weird.
